Monthly Meeting - "Putting the Garden to Bed" @ Community Services Center

November Annual Meeting & Program Wednesday, November 15, 10:30 a.m. Our November meeting will be held on November 15th at the Community Service Center.

This meeting is our annual membership meeting. We don’t usually cover much “Club Business’ in our usual program meetings, but this is that once a year duty. Please try to attend. Important items that must be covered:

1. Nominations for Board positions. This includes officers and committee chairs. Our current Board is willing to continue, but nominations may be taken from the floor (provided your nominee is not taken unaware!). Carol Jasin has stepped forward to take the Membership Chair position as the result of Patti Frank’s early resignation. Open Committee Chairs: Programs Coordinator and Publicity. Would welcome anyone that can serve as Civic Activity Coordinator or as Westlake Schools Coordinator.

2. Change in our number of meetings: Schedule is proposed to be April through December with August as a vacation month.

3. Update the fiscal year in our governing documents to reflect June-May. 4. Permit the use of electronic notifications (email) for proposed changes to documents and announce meetings.
